Wall preparation matters
Small ridges, holes, loose paint, and uneven areas can show through wallpaper. The wall condition should be reviewed before installation so any needed preparation can be addressed.

About our Key Biscayne service
Humidity can affect how walls, adhesive, and wallpaper perform, so D&L Wall Design starts with a clean, dry surface that is ready for installation. We also look at wall texture, existing coatings, corners, outlets, and other details that can affect how the finished pattern comes together.
Many South Florida homes rely heavily on air conditioning, creating changes between indoor and outdoor conditions. A careful review of the room helps determine the preparation needed, where seams should fall, and how the wallpaper should be handled during installation.
Local conditions
Wallpaper work in Key Biscayne homes
Humidity and moisture
Warm, humid conditions make it important to work with a dry wall surface and consider moisture around kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas where it may be present.
Pattern and seam planning
Wallpaper is measured and positioned so patterns and seams work with the room's walls, corners, doors, and windows.
Room access
Furniture, wall hangings, outlets, and other items can affect the installation. Clearing the work area gives the installer room to prepare and apply the material carefully.
