Wall preparation comes first
Wallpaper needs a smooth, sound surface. Existing texture, holes, loose paint, and old adhesive can affect the finished look and how well the wallpaper stays in place.

About our Miami service
Homes and businesses across Miami can have different wall surfaces, ages, and existing finishes, so D&L Wall Design starts by checking the walls rather than treating every space the same. Uneven areas, old adhesive, and previous repairs may need attention before wallpaper is installed.
South Florida's warm, humid climate also makes the condition of the room part of the installation. Walls should be clean, dry, and suitable for the selected material, while windows and other sources of strong daylight are considered when planning the layout and finished look.
Local conditions
What matters for wallpaper work in Miami
Humidity affects the installation
South Florida's warm, humid conditions can affect wallpaper materials and paste. The walls and room need to be properly prepared before installation begins.
Sunlight can change the finished look
Strong daylight can make seams, patterns, and color differences more noticeable. We consider windows and natural light when planning the layout and installation.
Different rooms need different planning
Bedrooms, living areas, hallways, and other spaces can have different wall conditions and moisture exposure. D&L Wall Design plans the installation around the room and the material being used.
